In May 2022, my family booked a deluxe inside stateroom on a three-night cruise from Miami to Nassau and Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. With new Disney cruise ships come new experiences and innovations for cruisers. My family of four has gone on a few Disney cruises and each time, our experience is a little different. This signals a boost in Disney cruise ship size, and the new ships have more cabins than Disney Dream, Fantasy, Wonder and Magic. Following a three-week dry dock project in Freeport, The Bahamas, we are debuting our first-ever entertainment experience themed to Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto and an all-new lounge inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Soul, along with other exciting enhancements, aboard the Disney Magic. With five ships setting sail in fall 2022 from different homeports around the country, we are excited to offer more ways than ever before for families to make special memories with.
